    By submitting your entry you agree to comply with the information, terms and conditions set out in the Entry Guide. The International Travel & Tourism Awards reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. If changes are made, a revised version shall be available as an online download. Please check the latest information posted therein, based on the PDF document name.

  • Online entries
    Entries must be submitted in English online at awards.wtm.com/entry

    Stakeholder disclosure
    Entrants must disclose details of other agencies, suppliers and/or third parties involved in the project.

    All permissions must have been granted before entry and all contributing parties must be credited.

    Entry handling
    The International Travel & Tourism Awards undertakes to manage all information supplied with due care. However, it cannot be held responsible for any undelivered, delayed, mislaid, incomplete or lost entries or reference documents (even with proof of sending), which may be regarded as an incomplete or invalid entry.

    Authentic work
    It is each entrant’s responsibility to provide original bona fide work. See Entry Guide, Section 3.2 Credits, authorisation and joint entries.

    Online entries must be completed in English. Reference documents (section 3.2 of Entry Guide) are preferred in English, though other languages will be accepted.

    Withdrawal of entry/Refunds
    Handling of entries starts as soon as an entry is submitted. Please email the awards team should you wish to withdraw your entry. Entry fees are non-refundable after the closing date for entries or 14 days after receipt, whichever is earlier.

    Entrants are discouraged from including confidential information unless it significantly enhances their entry. If confidential information is supplied, it should be clearly marked as “Confidential”. If it is not marked as confidential, then WTM have the right to publish. Entrants must not supply business sensitive information or breach any intellectual property rights.

    Closing date
    Entries should be received by 23:59 GMT on the entry deadline. See section 3.1. of Entry Guide. Submissions after this time will not be accepted. The International Travel & Tourism Awards reserves the right to extend the deadlines. No changes or additional information may be supplied after the final closing date, unless requested by the awards team/judges

  • Judging

  • Eligibility
    See Section 3.1 Eligibility of the Entry Guide.

    Information supplied
    Judging will be based solely on the information supplied in a submission.

    Judging process
    The International Travel & Tourism Awards reserves the right to revise the judging process, categories and panel.

    Where appropriate judges may re-assign an entry to a different category if they feel it is more relevant. Entrants will be advised accordingly.

  • Publicity


  • By entering the International Travel & Tourism Awards you agree to involvement in the Awards publicity and allow the International Travel & Tourism Awards to use the publicity material, logo(s) and non-confidential support materials. This may be extended to support documents that have not been listed as confidential.

    Finalist and winners promotions
    Finalists and winners are permitted to promote their association with the International Travel & Tourism Awards, provided they specify the applicable year and award category.

    Award sponsoring
    In the interests of impartiality, sponsors are not allowed to enter the award category they are sponsoring.

  • Award Ceremony

  • Official photographer and videographer
    Photos and videos will be taken at the ceremony for use by the International Travel & Tourism Awards for marketing and publicity purposes. Please email the awards team if you do not want to be featured.

    Cancellation/Postponement of Awards
    In the unlikely event of cancelling or postponing the Awards, the International Travel & Tourism Awards cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred.

    WTM are not responsible for any offence caused by the entertainment and Awards compere.

    Dress code
    Guest at the awards must comply with the dress code: business attire.

    Hosts entertaining guests at the Awards must advise their guests of special requirements such as special dietary requirements 2 weeks prior to the awards, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    All guests must act in an orderly manner, arriving and leaving promptly in line with the award times

  • Payments


  • Billing
    Unless otherwise agreed, all award entries shall be paid by Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card in full when submitting your entry. Entries that have not been paid by the closing date will not be considered.

    Data handling
    By submitting your entry you permit the International Travel & Tourism Awards to use the personal data supplied for the purposes of administrating the Awards both this year and next year and related updates.

  • General

  • IP rights/ ownership
    The online entry, reference documents and publicity material becomes the property of the International Travel & Tourism Awards on entry.
